Belal Arezou joined Churchill Brothers of Indian League

New Delhi: The highly rated Afghan striker who got attention of many clubs recently joined Churchill brothers on loan from his former club Asker FC. His deal was sealed hours after the signing of returnee Indian striker Sunil Chetri from Sporting Clube de Portugal and Lamine Tamba.

The Afghan striker who is currently in Goa for completing his move has got the attention of many clubs since his performance in SAFF Championship back in 2011 where Afghanistan lost in the final but his performance left people keep an eye on him. He scored six goals in the tournament which also included the opening goal against India and the only winning goal in extra time against Nepal which ensured Afghanistan's first ever major final tournament.

Back in Norway he played a key role in Asker FCs squad and scored over 22 goals for the club in his 100 Appearence. Arezou also played for  SenjaGrane, Arendal and Fredrikstad's youth team before he joined Asker in 2009. He will play a key role in Churchill brothers game in the Indian League.
