New Delhi: Afghanistan to Face Palestine in 2014 Fifa World Cup Qualification AFC First round.
The First match will be played in Tajekistan on 29 June 2011, soon after the second will be on 3 July 2011, the venue for the second match is not yet announced, but according to some media, Palestine will be the host for the second match. Afghanistan played very well in recent matches where they played Bhutan two match and finished 5-0 victory, and then lost to Nepal 1-0 and came up with a victory of 1-0 over Sri Lanka, and lost to Norht Korea 2-0. Afghanistal failed to qualify for 2012 AFC Challenge Cup but gained points which placed them 164th in FIFA World Ranking and 38th In Asia. Afghanistan seems better after National team recruited some new talented Players who played in differenct FC's in Europe and America.
